Come join the fun and see for yourself the progress of our students!  Graz'n Acres TRC depends on a dedicated team of volunteers to operate.  Many have been with us since we started in 1999.  Help our students with disabilities while providing a community service at  the same time.
Note: All volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Volunteer Opportunities:

Lesson Volunteers:  Help with our therapeutic riding and driving lessons as a horse leader, sidewalker or header.  While horse experience is helpful, it is not required.  We provide training for all those interested before the start of each session.  Volunteers must be able to commit one day a week (approximately three hours) for an 8 week session in the fall, spring and/or summer.  We offer a morning school program as well as evening lessons most days of the week.
Fundraising:  As a non-profit, the center holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise the necessary funding to operate.  As a community based program, we can use your help!  Perhaps your employer supports volunteer services or has a matching donation program?  Are you a member of a local civic group, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Ruritan etc?  Are your interested in helping with our large fundraisers such as our Benefit Dinner and Auction?  If so, please contact the office to see how you can contribute.
Grant Writing:  Graz'n Acres is always looking for that special volunteer with experience writing grants.  Over 20% of our yearly budget comes from grants.  If you're that person, please contact us to get started.
Facility Maintenance:  With over ten acres to maintain, there is always a need for general upkeep on the farm.. From staining fences to grass cutting, you name it, we can use the help.  Volunteers may come once a week, once a month or for special request, depending on their interest.  Groups and community service projects are welcome too.  We'll set up a day for your group if needed.
